Ribera del Duero was present at the Spanish Wine Festival, which took place at 'Pressen' in Politikens Hus, located in the center of Copenhagen from the 15th to 16th of September.

At the stand, three sommeliers served and introduced the wines, providing information about the grape, climate, and altitude. This year, the wines were categorized into three main categories: organic wines, classic wines, and new style wines.

After tasting the wines, visitors could participate in a contest by selecting their favorite category among the three. A total of 106 people entered the contest, and the winner received 6 bottles of Ribera del Duero wine.

On the first day of the festival, a wine seminar with the theme 'Classic Wines in New Ways' was held by Thomas Ilkjær, a wine writer, author, and lecturer. He presented 8 wines and educated the 30 enthusiastic participants about the differences between classic and 'postmodern' wines from Ribera del Duero.
