Ribera del Duero proudly participated as a key exhibitor at the annual Spanish Wine Festival in Copenhagen, where over 1,200 wine enthusiasts gathered to discover the rich world of Spanish wines. The festival took place at the “Pressen” in Politikens Hus, featuring 20 exhibitors, with Ribera del Duero and Rueda representing their wine regions independently.
Over the course of two days, 30 top wines, including both classic and postmodern selections, were showcased, all chosen from a blind tasting in DinVinguide. Visitors had the opportunity to experience wines, learn about the unique characteristics of Ribera del Duero’s grape, climate, and altitude through expert guidance from 3 sommeliers. They were also encouraged to engage on social media by sharing a story from the stand, with four lucky winners each receiving three bottles of Ribera del Duero wine.
Additionally, a Master Class titled Ribera del Duero – Tradition vs Innovation was held, where 36 participants learned about 8 different wines, presented by sommelier Christian Thorsholt.
The Wine Festival was widely promoted, reaching over 2.5 million readers through Ekstra Bladet and Politiken, boosting visibility for Ribera del Duero wines.
