The purpose of the trip was to ensure sommeliers are up-to-date on the trends in Ribera del Duero, to maintain interest in the region, and to recommend its wines for their wine list.

Eight Danish sommeliers participated in the trip, which included 15 wine experiences such as tastings, wine walks, dinners and visits to wineries.
