Climate
The unique climatic conditions that characterise the cultivation of our vines in Ribera del Duero greatly influence the growing cycle of the vines, playing a fundamental role both in the development of the plant and the ripening of the grapes. The quality of the resulting wines depends to a large extent on these exceptional conditions.
The region benefits from a Mediterranean climate, with a continental influence and an extreme nature; it boasts dry summers, long and harsh winters, low rainfall (400-500 mm/year average) and a large difference in temperatures throughout the year (from -20º to 42º C). This results in grapes of an extraordinary quality - small in size, with thick skins, that have benefited from an optimal slow and late ripening period."
